Always On Network Bangladesh Ltd ("AONB") intends to deliver high-speed, carrier class, Internet access to education, government, businesses and individuals within Bangladesh and to provide services at a cost suitable to the existing local economy. These services are designed to initiate an offspring economy that should act as a catalyst for future economic development and the overall good of Bangladesh.
At the end of its deployment cycle, AlwaysOn envisions a highly developed intranet within Bangladesh that will be attractive to foreign companies as a low cost location for computer dependant operations presently located in other countries. Central to the networks envisioned herein is ultimately providing Internet access to every school in Bangladesh. AlwaysOn believes that bringing a high-speed Internet infrastructure to Bangladesh will have a dramatic impact on the country’s economic growth through ICT proliferation and educational development.
